The M577 APC

Styled after the iconic vehicle from the 1986 blockbuster movie “Aliens”, this “Armored Personnel Carrier” LEGO model is made from 770 pieces and was a labor of love for me. From the onset I strived to replicate the angles and lines of this vehicle as closely as possible, while ensuring there was enough space inside for minifigs and play-ability.

Features include;

Sliding side door.
Rotating front and rear turret guns (rear turret slides along the rails into stow position).
Dual flip-up missile launchers.
Removable front and rear covers to gain access to interior.
Armor clad exterior/wheels.
Fully detailed interior including captains control center, seating for 4 marines with seat restraints, and seats for the gunner and driver.
Printable “stickers” for the Command Center and Gunner’s screens (11 in total, requires printing and cutting out on letter sized sticker paper, see instructions page for more details).

The result is this gorgeous model (if I do say so myself) with as much personality and detail on the inside as it has on the outside, which serves as a reminder that anything is possible with LEGO.
